Hi everyone,
Got back on Thursday from our holiday at Lake Garda. Unfortunately it wasn't as good as anticipated due to some awful weather. We arrived on the 12th to torrential rain which didn't really let up til the Sunday. It only got back to it's customary 28+ 2 days before we were due to come home
. However- we did manage to enjoy ourselves very much as the hotel's so fantastic. Lovely food, coffee, ice creams, and the opportunity to do nothing but relax!!!! We managed to get 2 really good days out, and actually it was quite pleasant going to Verona on a cloudy day as it can get stiflingly hot and uncomfortable there. It didn't stop me shopping although I did restrict myself to 2 handbags
.
We've been going to the same hotel for 11 years now. It's lovely as we feel part of the family and we often see the same faces and meet up with them for a chat.
Despite the weather we still had a lovely time but could have done with longer as we didn't feel we were really on holiday til the sun came out.
